The Trauma Treatment Consultation Series is a live, group consultation experience designed for clinicians working with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex PTSD, dissociative identity disorder, and complex dissociative disorders. Whether you are new to treating trauma or have decades of experience, everyone is welcome. Over three months, you’ll bring your real cases and receive expert guidance from trauma specialists Tracy Jarvis, MSc, CSP, UKCP and Kate Truitt, PhD, MA, MBA. Together, they bring decades of clinical experience working directly with trauma survivors and some of the most challenging presentations encountered in practice.

What makes this CONSULTATION SERIES different

Using an interoceptive and neurobiological lens, Tracy and Kate help you understand:

  • Why clients become stuck despite “doing the work”
  • How trauma alters perception, prediction, and the experience of safety
  • What dysregulation, dissociation, and attachment adaptations are trying to communicate
  • How to identify the mechanisms maintaining symptoms
  • What to target next when standard approaches appear insufficient

TREAT COMPLEXITY WITH CONFIDENCE

What sets this consultation apart is the depth of clinical reasoning brought to each case. This is not surface-level discussion or protocol-driven problem-solving. It’s an opportunity to explore the subtle interactions among neurobiology, interoception, attachment, dissociation, meaning-making, and lived experience that often determine whether therapy progresses or stalls.

Join a Community Committed to Clinical Excellence

This is a structured consultation group limited to 50 clinicians. You’ll be challenged to think more deeply about your work, while being supported by experienced faculty and a community of practitioners who share your commitment to trauma recovery.

IMPROVE CLIENT OUTCOMES

SKILLS YOU CAN APPLY WITH CLIENTS IMMEDIATELY

  • Across the three sessions, you’ll deepen your clinical thinking in the areas that define the hardest presentations in trauma work.
  • Sharper recognition of how interoceptive disruption shows up in your PTSD and C-PTSD clients, and what that tells you about intervention sequencing.
  • Clearer frameworks for working with dissociation as a nervous system response, not a barrier to treatment.
  • More precise attunement to attachment trauma presentations, and how attachment patterns shape the therapeutic relationship and pace of recovery.
  • Concrete, case-specific direction from two specialists – guidance you can take directly into your next session.

DESIGNED FOR THERAPISTS WORKING WITH TRAUMA

Suitable for therapists, psychologists, counsellors, psychiatrists, physicians, addiction professionals, and marriage and family therapists working across CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, IFS, somatic, psychoanalytic, integrative, and other evidence-based treatment approaches. The consultation series focuses on clinical principles that transcend modality, helping clinicians apply interoception, neuroscience, and trauma-informed practice to complex presentations.
