Patrick Scott Welsh, MBA, MSc, is founder and CEO of Innervation Sciences, a public benefit corporation which partners with leading interoception researchers and critical industry stakeholders to move brain-body science into practice. He came to interoception as a patient — living with functional neurological disorder — before he came to it as a builder, drawing on two decades leading research labs and innovation ventures at PwC and Peloton. He is completing a doctorate at the University of Limerick on how interoceptive intelligence can be defined, measured, and trained.
